Description

Designed by Moshe Safdie for Expo 67, Habitat remains the official legacy of Man and His World and the only intact original pavilion. Located in Cité-du-Havre, a century-old artificial peninsula expanded for the World's Fair, the complex offers spectacular views of the river, downtown, and the Old Port of Montreal.

Executed with impeccable technique, each dish celebrates the peak of the harvest and pays homage to the place as much as the season. The courses will be accompanied by local and international pairings carefully selected by our sommelier Alexis.

The experience goes far beyond the plate. The scenography imagined by Menu Extra is inspired by the brutalist language of Habitat and the audacity of Expo 67. Set in the heart of the complex, the table, custom-designed by the culinary studio and manufactured by Modulor, takes the form of a red monolith, echoing the theme color of the World's Fair. The seating accentuates the perspective while the lighting and seating stations are organized around a scaffolding system. The soundscape, designed by Montreal artist Kroy, will be heard through Mycoaudio's sculptural speakers.

Thanks to Guiker for opening the doors of Habitat 67 to us for the occasion.
