Feast of Love - The Quail in Sarcophagus

This gourmet meal is a tribute to the Danish film Babette's Feast (1987), which tells the story of the greatest of simple joys: sharing a good meal with those you love. Like Babette, Menu Extra believes in the magic that comes from a full table.

So whether it's for a romantic dinner for two or a memorable evening with friends, our gourmet box promises you a complete meal, where each bite celebrates love and indulgence.

On the menu:

THE QUAIL IN SARCOPHAGUS
Stuffed with duck and black Périgord truffle, coated in golden, flaky pastry. Served with quail jus.

BEETROOT SALAD WITH MANCHEGO AND DILL VINAIGRETTE
Marinated beets, thin slices of manchego and a light dill vinaigrette.

CARROT AND TURNIP PUREE
A smooth and velvety blend of carrots and turnips.

CRISPY POTATOES
With melting herb butter.

CHOCOLATE FONDANT AND CUSTARD
Intense chocolate fondant, served with Madagascar vanilla custard for a smooth finish.

Extra:

TUNA TARTARE WITH GREEN VINAIGRETTE
Marinated, knife-cut tuna with cucumber and a tiger's milk sauce with chive oil, pickled ginger, puffed rice, and chives. Served with crispy toast.

The Love Menu will be available on February 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 21, and 22, for delivery or pickup at our store.

Our meals are designed to be easily reheated and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days after receipt.
